Happy Birthday To Me!

I turn 32 years young today! Happy birthday to me! It's always fun to have so many people think of you so early in the morning! I've had lots of emails and facebook birthday wishes already and it's not even 10am yet! Sadly I won't get to do much celebrating today. After work I have to take Ally to visit her GI doctor for a follow up appointment then it'll be nap time when we get home. Matthew has duty today so he'll be on the ship for 24 hours and won't be able to come home tonight so we've decided to postpone the festivities until this weekend when we'll really have a lot to celebrate since I'll be all through with work. Only 3 more days, or 21 more hours... but who's counting??!!!??

We had a nice weekend with some beautiful weather- made me miss San Diego. It was a balmy 70 degrees with a nice breeze. We attended a Change of Command event at Matthew's former squadron, did some work around the house, went to church and brunch, and did a whole lot of nothing. I love relaxing weekends!

Random side note: This morning when I was dropping Ally off at day care- we were in the parking lot and this Honda Odyssey minivan pulls up a few spaces away from me. I can hear the music blasting from inside of it even though the windows are rolled up tight. As the passenger door slides open I realize the song is When You Wish Upon A Star- but it's the jazzed up techno Disney Princess version. I snickered briefly then admitted that there is a definite possibility that this will be me in a few years!
