Falling Further and Further Behind Every Day!

The title says it all. I'm falling further and further behind every single day. I'm behind in laundry, behind in sleep, behind in housework, behind in my fitness and weight loss goals, behind in blogging, etc... The list goes on and on. However, I am loving every minute of it! (Except for the mountains of laundry and dog hair!)

Being a mama of two can take a lot out of a girl, but it brings so much joy too! My Ally is as sweet as can be and really couldn't be a better big sister to baby Hank who is by far the happiest and most agreeable baby I know. We're slowly starting to find our groove as a family of four and have been having lots of fun doing it. Matthew took 10 days of belated paternity leave and we're making our first cross country trip on an airplane together next week. The logistics of air travel with two young kids are mind boggling! I'm already stressing out about which strollers to bring, how to finagle two car seats, renting or borrowing a car big enough to get from the airport to my parent's house, etc. I know the two travel days are going to be trying and not a whole lot of fun, but I'm hoping the 11 days in between will make it all worth while.

Since I'm only updating my blog every 2-3 weeks now, pictures seem to be the best way to fill in all the blanks so here's the run down.

Love these two happy boys!

Ridin' the rhino!

Hank just waking up from a nap at the Zoo

It only took three weeks, but we finally got a half way decent family photo at the zoo!

A face only a mother could love! We though this guy and our dog Angus must be distant cousins because they both have a seriously messed up grill!

Hank riding with Ally in the BOB without his infant seat for the first time

Sweet baby boy!

I feel compelled to include pictures of Hank sleeping in the stroller so you'll know that we didn't leave him home alone!

Our beach loving girl!

JOY!

One of my most brilliant ideas... a child swing that we can hang from our pergola! Who needs a full blown swing set?

Ally loves to swing!

Hank was pretty fond of it too!

Matthew is teaching Hank the difference between a Chardonnay and a Riesling! Starting him young!!

Ally sure loves her Pop Pop!

Big girl 'reading' all by herself!

Happy Hank experiencing the exersaucer for the first time!

I'd say he's enjoying it!

Definitely puzzled by all these new toys!

A bird pooped on Ally's shirt during an early evening walk so she rocked the hillbilly look while playing in the yard afterwards!

My gardeners

Dumping a bucket of water down her pants really completed the look!
Thanks for checking in with us. Don't give up on me yet- one of these days I will post something worth reading!
